At UAS we manage our business processes by taking into account the social, economic and environmental impact and consider human rights. Giving back is our way to get to know our community and its citizens. Working alongside individuals who also care about improving their surroundings has allowed us to broaden our network of friends.           

In addition we sponsor and participate in local social tournaments such as Tasbet June 16 games, Freedom day soccer tournaments , Nelson Mandela day, Bethal December schools tournaments and The great train race to mention just a few. This has helped us to understand the circumstances of other members of our community better. Our commitment has succoured us to have a broad, open-minded perspective of the different walks of life around.

UAS CEO Ms Audrey Ndlovu has taken a personal interest in the wellbeing of the children and their caretakers of Sipho-Senkosi disabled centre, a local orphanage for children with disabilities and special needs. UAS has been supporting the orphanage since 2018. Food and essentials are donated on a monthly basis to ensure the kids receive the best care they need. In 2022 Umzamo donated a newly build kitchen, laundry and toilet for the centre and donated all the kitchen equipment, We also provide maintenance and repairs to the centre where required.
